About The Institute for Special Needs Children

The Institute for Special Needs Children, LLC (InSNC), is a Houston, TX based organization dedicated to providing individualized, multi-modal, movement-based learning programs that promote natural developmental processes and optimize neurological organization and functioning.

InSNC was founded in 2005, out of a need for dynamic approaches to the treatment of neuro-developmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs), Dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder and Auditory Processing Disorder.

The complexity of interaction and codependency among the various sensory systems, the nervous system and the brain typically remains hidden until there is a breakdown in the cooperation of these systems. These breakdowns can be seen in the form of symptoms associated with the disorders mentioned above. There are many researchers devoted to the study of these disorders; at InSNC we are devoted to the study and development of solutions that are effective for recovery from these symptoms, and therefore, their associated disorders.

We believe that every child has a familiar, yet very unique, developmental path which necessitates programs that are customized to meet the needs of the individual and their family.
